Business and Industry
We work closely with business and industry in planning waste and infrastructure to meet the future needs of the region. We also aim to nurture business to identify the materials and waste streams and set up strategies to reduce and recycle materials and materials exchange opportunities.
Rethink Your Footprint is a free short waste self-assessment tool for business and industry to capture existing waste and recycling activities at your work place. It is designed as the starting point to enable your business to understand what recycling and waste practices you currently do and to start the process to make improvements to short-term and long-term positive impacts on your business and the environment.
Rethink Your Footprint will allow your business to simply understand the waste streams generated, and then utilise a set of supportive tools and resources to help you educate and identify opportunities to reduce waste and make managing waste easy, convenient and possibly more cost effective.
Following your Rethink Your Footprint self-assessment, Barwon South West Waste and Resource Recovery Group will contact your business to assist in helping your workplace reduce waste and improve businesses.
